ISOLabquip NDT Limited was last month awarded the ISO 9001 quality certification – a move that has set the company on a fast-track growth in the UK market.

Labquip NDT UK Sales Manager Andrew Ryan says that ‘by gaining full ISO 9001:2015 certification for our operation, we are preparing additional UK services in order to confirm our position as a leading supplier of Elemental Analysis, Material Inspection and Non-Destructive Testing (NDT) equipment and products.

He adds that ‘we are delighted to pass this important milestone at the first time of asking: Full credit should be extended to the whole Labquip NDT Team along with David McCallum of NoviQA (ISO consultant) who made this happen.

The new ISO 9001 standard also supports Labquip NDT’s growing reputation in high-end UK research centres and in leading UK manufacturing sites. Labquip NDT provides increased UK representation of Waygate Technologies in addition to a growing installation base of Bruker handheld XRF, OES and CGA.

Labquip’s QA success also paves the way for the provision of the UK’s first Labino AB Apollo 2.0 calibration service for radiometry and photometry. Labquip NDT plans to open the new UK Labino service centre for business by the end of Q2 2022.

Labino and Labquip are currently working on creating a twin copy of Labino’s ISO 17025 ACCREDITED LABORATORY with scope in UV-A and visible light calibrations on the Labino Apollo 2.0. This will be the eighth such Labino lab in the world and a first for the UK. Local independent UKAS 17025 certifications will be added once the laboratory is established.

From next year Labquip NDT will also have full UK service coverage for the AGFA Structurix film processor range, expanding on its existing group capabilities.

Labquip NDT ltd is a UK registered company and shares the same system as its Irish sister company; benefitting from the same CRM system that deploys part numbers, minimum stock levels, service engineer stocks (vehicle) and all other elements for first class products and services to the UK’s laboratory sectors.
