Labquip NDT Limited – a leading provider of Non-Destructive Testing (NDT) solutions – will use this week’s UK Metals Expo – NEC Birmingham, Sept 10-11 – to exhibit and demonstrate class-leading services and new NDT products for the UK metals sector.

Labquip NDT’s product highlights will include the Q6 NEWTON – the new benchtop spark OES solution from Bruker. It was released in June last year and it is a solution for metallurgists and technicians requiring high precision alloy composition analysis. It can be used to analyse Fe, Al, Cu and Pb matrices and more. It also features HighSense™ detection technology for ultrafast measurements with superior limits of detection and uncompromised precision in as little as 20 seconds.

Show visitors will be able to check out the Newton hardware and can also run the rule over the new software which was released just a few weeks ago.

Oliver Williams will lead Labquip NDT’s representation at this week’s show. Oliver holds a master’s degree in chemistry and has industry experience working with a wide range of analytical systems, particularly Handheld XRF and Combustion Analysis. At Labquip, he uses this expertise for both sales and service tasks, providing strong application support before and after sales.

Oliver will be supported at UK Metals Expo by Labquip Ireland’s experienced Technical Specialist, Dr Sara Usai, based at Labquip Ireland, thus fostering an exchange of expertise to enhance support across both regions. Exhibition visitors and customers will benefit from a broad and in-depth knowledge base, delivering high-quality technical support and service.
