Labquip NDT teams up with Pexraytech Battery-powered X-Ray generator

Labquip NDT has partnered with Finnish manufacturer Pexraytech in order to bring battery-powered X-ray solutions to the NDT market.

The Pexraytech Gen 160 battery-powered X-ray generator is making waves, reducing the need for isotopes far in excess of expectations, and with no maintenance cost.

The extended battery life can help deliver tens of scans per charge, depending on material thickness, along with the Gen 160’s heat management system. The image quality shown from exposures with a 0.9mm focal spot shows clarity and sharpness.
